Anna Lucina Hemmings MBE (born 19 December 1976 in Hammersmith) is a British marathon canoeist who competed in the 1990s and 2000s, winning six world championship gold medals. She also competed in sprint canoeing. She was eliminated in the semifinals of the K-1 500 m event at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney. Eight years later in Beijing, Hemmings was eliminated in the heats of the K-2 500 m event.
Hemmings was appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the 2010 New Year Honours.[1]
